Who Knew?

Ok, So this is what it's all about. My name is Meghan and I have just made the biggest leap in interests every. I graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Nutritional Sciences with the intention of going to medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine...Ha Ha I sound so pretentious. However, I had a little bit of a freak out. I up and moved to Los Angeles and I’m now pursuing a career in the music business. Not the smartest move on my part but hey, I’m young, why not right? The craziest part is that since I have been here everything has fallen into place like I was meant to be here all along. I found a job, an apartment, and a freaking ridiculously cool roommate in about 48 hours. Who does that? I had already set up an internship with a music marketing and promotion company before I headed out west. It is a non paid internship so basically I moved myself and my unique (only way to describe her) cat Elliot across the country to do something that I don’t get paid for….hmmm. But seriously I could not be having more fun. Every day I go to the office I am do stuff I find interesting and exciting. I was even offered a job after only working three days. Now are you starting to understand why I decided to name this blog Dumb Luck? I have no idea how this is all working out but I am not about to start complaining. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that this is freaking amazing and I should be soooooo thankful, which I am. I started this blog to kinda describe to everyone my journey and to show people that if you really want to do something with your life that has nothing to do with what you have been wrapped up in for years, it is totally possible. Every post I will try to include a music suggestion and a quote. It might be from something I heard walking down the street or something a family member or friend said. Hopefully you will find them as funny as I do! Oh and If I run into anyone famous I will def let you all know!
